From Agnone to Sepino Ruins
A quick itinerary to discover the archaeological site of Sepino, which offers visitors the opportunity to admire the archaeological and monumental remains of a past rich in history, culture and archaeology of the Samnite and Roman ages. Not far away stands the protected site of Guardiaregia-Campochiaro, one of the largest and wildest oasis managed by WWF. The environment is mountain and forest with spectacular karst phenomena, such as the canyon of the Quirino torrent with a short and easy walk that follows the edges of the gorge.
